HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 8 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau and head of foreign affairs, thanked today the Bolivarian Alliance for the People of Our America - People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) for the solidarity statement sent to Cuba after the passage of Hurricane Rafael.
Their support encourages us to continue working hard for the recovery of the affected areas, said the foreign minister on X.
The statement emphasizes that the Alliance accompanies all the efforts of the Cuban government to gradually recover normality on the island.
The effects of the climate crisis are a reminder that countries must work together to have an emergency protocol to provide assistance to affected families and collaborate in the restitution of daily life in the countries of the region, the message further indicates.
