Havana, Nov 1 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez congratulated the people and government of Algeria on the 70th anniversary of the 1954 Revolution.
On his X account, Rodriguez ratified his government’s willingness to deepen the historical links of friendship, cooperation and solidarity between the two nations. https://shorturl.at/9e9Oc
Cuba was the first country in the Americas to have recognized the Algeria independence in 1962 and established full diplomatic relations on October 17 that year.
Both countries share strong relations in the areas of healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, agriculture, higher education and sports.
