HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 27 (ACN) In a post on X on the occasion of the Day against Sanctions of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), Political Bureau member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla ratified Cuba's condemnation of the U.S. unilateral coercive measures against Zimbabwe.
The sanctions imposed by the U.S. and the E.U. against Zimbabwe hit its economy and disrupt other Southern African nations by hindering trade and the development of their production capacity.
For this reason, the 15-nation SADC designated October 25 as Anti-Sanctions Day, a strategic agreement to draw the world's attention to the negative effects of this hostile policy that afflicts not only Zimbabwe but the entire Southern African region.
