Cuba condemns Israeli massacre in Khan Yunis refugee camp

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 10 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, condemned today the massacre of more than 40 Palestinians by Israel in a refugee camp

Cuba's foreign minister stressed that the Israeli strike killed mainly children and women in the settlement, which is designated as a humanitarian zone.

“These acts are evidence of Israeli lack of respect for International Humanitarian Law and genocide committed against the people of Palestine,” he added to his message on X.

The number of Palestinians killed in Israel's offensive exceeds 40,000 (mostly women and children), since the escalation of the conflict last October.

According to a recent report by the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Israel has committed the crime against humanity of extermination, uses starvation as a method of warfare and inflicts collective punishment in Gaza.
