
Havana, March 22 (ACN) Cuba’s deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas wound up a working visit to Russia after addressing bilateral economic and cooperation relations in different sector.
Cabrisas and Dmitri Zverev, Transportation Minister, addressed cooperation actions in the sector including air, maritime and railway transportation. He also met with executives at Moscow’s International Investment Bank on ongoing bilateral links.
The Cuban government official was welcomed at Zarubezhneft Company with projects in Cuba. Company director general Serguey Kudriashov spoke about the importance they consider their presence in the island along the Cuban Oil Company Cupet under an international economic partnership contract aimed at exploring and exploiting oil on the northern Cuban coast.
Agriculture was high on the Cuban official as he met with Serguei Levin, Agriculture Minister, to confirm the joint work in the sector. Cabrisas stressed the priority of food production for Cuba and the actions towards food sovereignty.
Cabrisas’ visit confirmed the excellent economic, commercial, financial and cooperation relations between Cuba and Russia and allowed to keep on actions to boost bilateral links as agreed to by the top leaders of the two countries.
