HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 26 (ACN) Esteban Lazo Hernandez, president of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, arrived today in South Africa from Namibia, to begin a working visit.
According to the Cuban legislative body on X, during his stay, Lazo Hernandez, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party, will hold official talks with South African authorities.
The work program includes a meeting with his peer, Nosiviwe Noluthando Mapisa-Nqakula, according to Prensa Latina.
The Cuban delegation was received at the international airport of that capital city Oliver R. Tambo, by Lulama Rulumeni, head of the Directorate of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean of the South African foreign ministry.
It is also made up of Angel Villa Hernandez, deputy director general of bilateral affairs of the Cuban foreign ministry; and Jesus Rafael Mora Gonzalez, director of international relations of the National Assembly, as well as other officials.
