HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 23 (ACN) With the memory of Victor Kot, secretary general of the Communist Party of Argentina (PCA), his unwavering friendship and his faith in victory, Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), mourned today the death of the outstanding fighter.
On X, the Cuban president expressed his condolences to the family and comrades of Kot, who passed away on Sunday, January 21, due to a painful illness, according to the official website of the PCA.
Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, in a post on the same social network evoked the friendship and revolutionary struggle of the Argentine communist leader, especially in difficult times.
Likewise, Fernando Gonzalez Llort, president of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP by its Spanish acronym), sent his condolences for the physical loss of Victor Kot, stressing that his political and militant career and important role played in international solidarity brought him closer to Cuba and to the defense of fair causes.
