HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 18 (ACN) Cuban vice president Salvador Valdés Mesa arrived today in the Republic of Uganda to attend the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the 3rd South Summit of the G77+China.
During the latter, according to the official—who described representing his country in both events as an honor—Cuba will hand over the Presidency Pro-Tempore of the group.
The NAM meeting, which began on the 16th with preparatory lectures, will gather delegates from more than a hundred nations to discuss unity and increase cooperation among Member States.
