Cuba Welcomes new UNGA Resolution on Palestine



Havana, Dec 12 (ACN) A new resolution on the serious humanitarian situation in Palestine was passed by the UN General Assembly with the support of over 100 nations proved that the claim of the international community cannot be ignored, said Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.

“Nothing can justify the accomplice role of the United States in guaranteeing Israel’s impunity,” wrote the Cuban minister on X.

The new resolution demands a humanitarian and immediate ceasefire by all the parties involved so to honor all their obligations with International Law and the protection of civilians, the immediate and unconditional release of hostages and access to humanitarian aid, wrote Rodriguez.

UNGA passed a humanitarian ceasefire resolution on Tuesday for Gaza, days after Washington vetoed a Security Council bill with the same goal.
