Havana, Oct 16 (ACN) The head of the International Relations Department of Cuban Communist Party Central Committee, Emilio Lozada Garcia described as fruitful his exchange on Monday, in Beijing, with his Chinese counterpart Liu Jianchao.
On his X account, Lozada Garcia said they agreed to the significant role the two communist parties must play in fully developing comprehensive relations between the two countries.
The talks took place during the Third Forum on the Belt and Road for International Cooperation, in which the Cuban official is participating to address the sub-forum dedicated to “Connectivity among the Peoples.”
Lozada Garcia and Liu congratulated each other for counting since last April on a road map for the multi-dimensional development of relations between the two political organizations, as they ratified the significance to further deep the excellent links between the two parties.
Liu stressed the visit to China by Roberto Morales Ojeada, Member of the Politburo of Cuba’s Communist Party’s and Organization Secretary, and the visit to Cuba by Li Xi, Secretary of of the Central Committee for Disciplinary Control and member of the Permanent Committee of the Politburo of China’s Communist Party Central Committee.
Those two visits, said Liu, evidenced the political willingness to foster the exchange of experience to contribute to the consolidation of the socialist projects of Cuba and China.
The Cuban political leader called to keep advancing in the implementation of the consensuses reached by Presidents Miguel Diaz-Canel and Xi Jinping.
