
Havana, Sept 19 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and his counterpart from Kenya William Samoei Ruto held talks on Tuesday in New York, during the 78 Session of the UN General Assembly.
During the talks, the Cuban head of state thanked the Kenyan President for his country’s participation and the recent Summit of the Group of 77 plus China, held in Havana, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry. He also ratified the Cuban government’s willingness to keep strengthening bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation.
Kenya and Cuba will mark 28 years of diplomatic relations in October.
