HAVANA, Cuba, May 26 (ACN) As part of the visit to Spain of a Cuban delegation, the collaboration agreement between the Caribbean nation and the General Council of Chambers of Catalonia was renewed.
The visit of the Cuban representation, described today as fruitful, included the participation in two forums with the association of industrial companies and the General Council of the Chamber of Catalonia, Prensa Latina reported.
Antonio Carricarte, president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, who heads the delegation, held exchanges at the Barcelona Building Construmat Fair, in the construction sector.
He also met with business personalities in Spain, including the Secretary of State for Trade, Xiana Mendez, and the president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Antonio Garamendi.
At the headquarters of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Carricarte and Cuban Ambassador Marcelino Medina participated in the 33rd session of the Cuba-Spain Binational Business Committee, where the work plan for the period 2023-2024 was approved.
