Havana, Cuba, May 16 (ACN) The president of the Venezuela’s Friendship-with-Cuba Parliamentary Group Edgardo Ramirez announced a visit to Havana as part of celebrations for July 26, Cuba’s Rebellion Day.
The trip aims at joining Cubans during commemorations for the 70th anniversary of the attacks by a group of revolutionaries led by Fidel Castro against the Mocada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes army barracks under the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.
the Venezuelan lawmaker said the bilateral working agenda is fruitful and stressed thew work of his group in sharing ideas and plans with the vice-president of the Cuban Parliament, Ana Mari Machado, who ratified the work and efforts to prevail in both nations.
