Havana, Jan 16 (ACN) Cuban deputy Energy and Mining Minister Tatiana Amaran presented the island’s projects and policies underway in the areas of energy, food security, renewable energy and the environment.
The Cuban experience was presented during a meeting with Adnan Amin, CEO of the UN Conference on Climate Change, held during the 13th session of the General Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
Amin addressed the goals and priorities of the next COP 28 summit, to be held in November, which will focus on effective results to save Planet Earth.
The Cuban delegation to the meeting also included Marlenis Aguila, Renewable Energy expert and Ailyn Sarduy, official with the Cuban embassy in the United Arab Emirates.
