Havana, Dec 12 (ACN) Cuba’s Foreign Ministry announced that Havana will be the venue on Wednesday of the 22nd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) regional integration bloc.
On its Twitter account the Cuban Foreign Ministry said that the event marks the 18th anniversary of the setup of ALBA-TCP, in which participants will address the advancements and challenges for the bloc’s member nations.
The integration organization was born December 14, 2004 in Havana though a joint declaration and the accord to set it up by Commanders Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Fidel Castro of Cuba.
ALBA-TCP focuses on solidarity, complementation, justice and cooperation with the historic goal of uniting capabilities and strengths of all its member nations.
