HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 9 (ACN) The Cuban foreign ministry called today for a tweet on the occasion of the celebration in the country of the International Human Rights Day, this December 10.
Messages should be accompanied by the hashtags #cubanosconderechos and #DDHHCuba.
Juan Antonio Quintanilla, the country's permanent representative to the Human Rights Council, shared the call on his Twitter account, while mentioning Cuba's achievements in protecting the rights of all citizens.
This day is commemorated every December 10, when, in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a document that proclaims the rights that correspond to every person, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political opinion, national or social origin, economic position, birth or any other condition.
