HAVANA, cUBA, Dec 5 (ACN) Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, foreign minister of Türkiye reaffirmed today the will to strengthen bilateral relations in different fields.
On Twitter, the ANPP indicated that this meeting was part of the first day of the official visit of the head of the Cuban parliament to that Eurasian country, which will be extended until Wednesday.
According to the Turkish minister in the same social network, during the exchange both officials discussed economic relations and parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
Lazo Hernandez was received on Monday at the Ankara airport by deputy Selman Ozoyaci, president of the Türkiye-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, with whom he held a fraternal conversation in the protocol room of the air facility.
Türkiye is the last stop of the fruitful tour of the president of the Cuban legislature, which previously included the Russian Federation and Belarus.
