Venzuela’s Nicolas Maduro Recalls Legacy of Fidel CastroHavana, Nov 25 (ACN) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro recalled the legacy of the historic leader of the Cuban revolution Fidel Castro on the sixth anniversary of his passing, November 25th.

On his Twitter account, Maduro stressed the example of the Cuban Comandante about his love for his homeland, his people and freedom.

“Those of us who fight for a humanity in justice, bear with us his leading words and his example of unlimited struggle for the revolutionary cause,” said Maduro in his message.  

During his current visit to China, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel wrote on his Twitter account that Fidel Castro’s ideas are not only alive but they gain value and momentum every passing day.

Fidel Castro Ruz passed away in Havana on November 25th, 2016 at 90. His mortal remains traveled from Havana to eastern Santiago de Cuba receiving the people’s tribute all the way to his final resting place at the Santa Ifigenia cemetery.
