Havana, Nov 21 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party and Cuban President described as excellent bilateral relations between Moscow and Havana, during a visit to Russia Today TV channel.
On his Twitter account, the Cuban President referred to his tour of the television station where he met with directives and journalists. He said that Russia and Cuba look forward to deepening economic and trade relations on mutually beneficial grounds.
Diaz-Canel said that Cuba and Russia are undergoing complex scenarios due to sanctions and pressures imposed by imperialism at international level.
He also stressed the important role played by Russia Today TV in Cuba’s media scenario. “We’ve been able to see the scope of this channel, working processes, so I believe there is much we can jointly undertake, and collaborate,” said the Cuban President, who arrived in Russia on November 19 from Algeria as part of a tour that will take him to Turkiye and China.
