Havana, Nov 18 (ACN) A delegation from the Cuban Higher Education Ministry kicked off a working visit to Belarus to address opportunities for cooperation between universities and scientists from the two countries.
Cuban ambassador to Minsk Santiago Perez told PL news agency that the island’s delegation is headed by deputy Higher Education Minister Miriam Alpizar, who will meet her counterparts from Belarus.
The Cuban official is also scheduled to meet with Igor Karpenko, who heads the National Electoral Commission and is a member of the board of directors of the Friendship-with-Cuba Association.
Alpizar will also tour Minsk’s Technology Park and the Science and Technology Park at the Polytechnic University of Belarus. She will also visit the Language University to boost exchange with Cuba in the areas of Spanish and Russian Languages.
