Havana, Nov 8 (ACN) Members of the Cuban Communist Party Secretariat met with the general secretary of the British Communist Party Robert Davis Griffiths and extended their gratitude for their support of Cuba.
At the building housing the Cuban Communist Party Central Committee, the head of the Economic-Production Department Joel Queipo thanked the British communist leader for his organization’s support of Cuba in its struggle against the US economic, commercial and financial blockade.
The two sides also addressed the current Cuban reality, its fight for peace, and the ideological firmness against the imperialist offensive.
The vice-head of the Cuban Communist Party’s International Relations Department Angel Arzuaga reiterated the significance of the final declaration and plan of action of the recent 22nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties for the unity of the international communist and workers movement.
