Havana, Nov 30 (ACN) The Cuban delegation of lawmakers taking part at the 143rd Session of te Inter-parliamentary Union in Madrid, Spain held a meeting with the president of South Africa’s National Assembly Nosiviwe Mapisa-Qhakula.
According to the Cuban Parliament’s Twitter account the two sides ratified the excellent state of relations between their countries and parliaments.
A major objective of the inter-parliamentary forum is sharing experiences on how political systems and parliamentarians can promote cooperation and political dialog to deal with divisions and to build inclusive societies.
The Cuban delegation is made up of the president of the Health and Sport parliamentary commission Cristina Luna, the vice-chair of the International Affairs commission Rolando Gonzalez and the administrative secretary of the Cuba Group at the Inter-parliamentary Union Jesus Mora.
