HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 30 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban FM, will participate at the 45th ministerial meeting of the G-77 + China to be held November 30, in virtual format.
According to information published on the Cuban foreign ministry's website, Cubaminrex, the main issue of this meeting will be the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the obstacles it raises for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event should culminate with the adoption of a Ministerial Declaration, which will include a paragraph denouncing the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
Created on June 15, 1964, the Group of 77 + China is the largest intergovernmental organization of developing countries in the United Nations, which provides the means for the countries of the South to coordinate and promote their collective economic interests and enhance their joint negotiating capacity on major international economic issues and promote South-South cooperation for development.
