Cuban deputy PM continues intense work agenda in Russia

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 30 (ACN) Cuban deputy prime minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz continued on Monday his intense agenda in Russia, where he met with Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko and Ksenia Yudaeva, first deputy governor of the Central Bank of Russia.

The Cuban minister shared the experience of both nations in the confrontation with COVID19, as well as issues of bilateral cooperation and potentialities in health and biotechnology, about cooperation between the banking systems, and the willingness to continue expanding such links.
Several days ago Cabrisas Ruiz traveled to Russia to strengthen the close ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
As part of his agenda he recently met with Guennadi Ziuganov, chairman of the central committee of the Russian communist party and Ivan Mielnikov, first vice chairman of the State Duma.
Cabrisas Ruiz updated on the complex situation Cuba is facing, where, in addition to the effects of the pandemic, the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade by the United States is tightening without precedent.
Both sides highlighted the solidarity and friendship that unite our people and governments, so necessary in times like the ones we live in.
