HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 23 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, denounced today that the report of the supposed independent international mission of the United Nations on human rights in Venezuela lacks technical rigor, objectivity and impartiality.
On Twitter, Rodriguez stressed that Cuba rejects this politically motivated document, which is part of the discrediting campaign led by the United States against the Venezuelan people and government.
The National Constituent Assembly of Venezuela referred in a statement that the report is rigged and fixed, at the same time that it threatens truth, integrity and dignity of Venezuelans.
The document, according to the statement, aims to justify a military aggression and torpedo the process of national dialogue promoted by the Bolivarian government for harmonious development, peace and the exercise of full political freedoms.
Rodriguez denounced a few days ago on Twitter how the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's tour of South America focused on oil and the constant aggression against Venezuela.
Even though 200,000 people in the United States die from COVID-19 due to the electoral manipulation of its government, Pompeo is devoted to promoting the Monroe Doctrine and attacking Cuban medical cooperation, he added.
