HAVANA, Cuba, August 12 (ACN) The Cuban air rifle and mixed air pistol teams failed to reach the finals of the Shooting event of the II Junior Pan American Games, under way in Asunción, Paraguay.
The Mixed Air Rifle teams, Erisnelki Cruz-Jonathan González and Lourdes Medero-Jean Pedro Hodelin, finished 11th and 14th with 605.6 and 587.4 points, respectively.
Likewise, the Mixed Air Pistol pair of Melany Abreu and Carlos Herrera finished 10th with 540 points.
With this result, the Cuban shooters closed their participation in Asunción 2025, where Melany Abreu's fourth place in the individual 10m air pistol marked the island’s best performance.
