HAVANA, Cuba, August 10 (ACN) Cuban shooter Carlos Herrera finished his performance in the 10m air pistol qualifiers of the II Junior Pan American Games, held in Asunción, Paraguay, with 545 points and nine crosses, not enough to be among the top eight shooters who will be in the final.
Thus Herrera finished 15th after a hard-fought match with the American Marcus Klemp, who won the qualifying round at the top of the standings with 574 points and 18 crosses.
The Cubans Adianet López and Melany Abreus, in the women's division, will try to make it to the final in this same event.
