HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 23 (ACN) The National Commission of Marabana-Maracuba Races and Walks (CNCCMM) and Thai Binh Corporation, from Vietnam signed a sponsorship contract for Marabana, Cuba's main marathon.
The document was signed by Lazaro Green, Director of Logistics of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER); CNCCMM director Carlos Gattorno, and Mr. Tu Tran Thanh, representative of Thai Binh Investment Trading Corporation, who described the agreement as a great opportunity to help develop sports in Cuba, a country with great results in Olympic Games and World Championships.
Sponsoring CNCCMM activity—especially Marabana—is the main objective of this agreement that entitles the Thai Binh Group to use the marathon’s official image and facilitates the provision of the necessary material and financial resources to organize the event.
