Havana, Oct 17 (ACN) A small group of Cuban fencers will contest the Basse Terre 2024 Fencing Championship next October 25 and 27 in the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe.
Cuban Fencing Federation president Alhadis Bandera said that two epee and four foil fencers will represent the island at the event.
Giselle Franco and Danilo Ferrer will be the epee experts joined by foil fencers Carlos Rivero, Haidel Cisneros, Yunaisis Montero and Arais Cordero.
Giselle Franco is the most experienced fencer in the group after her participation at several international championships, including world cups.
