HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 5 (ACN) Cuban Noraivis de las Heras finished today in eighth place in the javelin throw F64 event of the 2024 Paralympic Games.
Noralvis, who will soon be 60 years old, notched up a personal best of 10.34m in her second attempt.
At the same venue—the Stade de France—the Cuban runner Omara Durand advanced to the final of the 100m event with a time of 12.01s and is in for her second gold medal in Paris 2024, since she was also first in the 400m race.
