HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 29 (ACN) Cuba beat Tunisia 3-1 today in the beginning of the matches for places 9 to 16 in the 1st U17 Men's Volleyball World Championship, held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Team Cuba called the shots in attacks (57-48) and blocks (15-5), whereas the Tunisians scored three more points in serves (5-2) and gave up one less point in terms of opponent errors.
After this result, the Cubans will play on Friday for a place between 9 and 12 against the winner of today's game between Libya and Puerto Rico.
