HAVANA, Cuba, May 12 (ACN) Cuba won another two bronze medals in the Saturday events of the Ibero-American Athletics Championships 2024, held in Cuiabá, Brazil.
Discus throwers Silinda Morales and Mario Díaz finished third after hitting the 58.26m and 60.37m marks, respectively.
On the same day, Alejandro Parada—runner-up at the Pan Am Games and champion of the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2023—was fourth and Maikel Vidal fifth in the long jump competition, so both athletes went medal-less.
