HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 10 (ACN) Cuban divers Anisley García and Prisis Leydi Ruiz are making good use of their presence in a training base in Cali, Colombia, as they prepare to get a ticket to the 2024 Olympic Games.
According to head coach Hugo Perez de Corcho, Garcia and Ruiz have a very good chance of making it to Paris, given their results in the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Doha (February 2 to 18), where they finished 19 in the platform and 16 in the springboard events, respectively.
More recently, at the Eurasian Cup (March 15-17), the Cuban team won one silver and four bronze medals.
