HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 9 (ACN) After losing 5-2 to Venezuela, the Cuban men's softball team participating in the Pan American Championship in Sincelejo, Colombia, will have a hard time getting one of the five tickets to the World Cup to be awarded by this tournament.
It was Team Cuba’s third defeat in a row after losing earlier to Guatemala and Colombia. Its sole win was over Costa Rica in the opener.
After these results, Venezuela leads the standings with a 4-0 record, followed by Argentina (2-0), Dominican Republic (2-1) and Guatemala (2-2) Then come Colombia (1-2), Honduras (1-2), Cuba (1-3) and Panama and Costa Rica (0-2).
