Havana, April 8 (ACN) Four Cuban taekwondo experts are contesting the Pan-Am championship of that sports in the Dominican Republic with the aim of securing tickets for Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Marlyn Perez (49 kilos), Arlettys de la Caridad Acosta (67 kilos), Kelvin Calderon (80 kilos) and Rafel Alba (80 kilos) are the Cubans contesting the event, said Ivan Fernandez, president of the Cuban Taekwondo Federation.
The Olympic Games will take place July 26 to August 11, in Paris, France.
