Havana, March 14 (ACN) Havana’s Sports Office and the Marabana/Maracuba National Walks and Runs Commission, have called on Cubans to join a massive race against Cancer on March 16.
A release by the Commission the race will hail Runner’s Day, on May 18th, marking the birth of walker Felix “Andarin” Carvajal (1875-1949)
The race will give out prizes to the first 40 runners or walkers in closing the circuit which will start 10 am Cuba local time at Havana’s Revolution Museum and will include several thoroughfares.
The Commission invites all walkers and runners to turn the event into an action for friendship, solidarity and support for all Cancer patients and their families.
