Havana, Feb 7 (ACN) The Cuban Boxing Federation announced the names of six boxers who will contest the Pre-Olympic championship in the Italian municipality of Busto Arzizio, next March 3-14.
The list is headed by world runners-up Erislandy Álvarez, 63,5 kilos and Fernando Arzola, +92 kilos. Also included are Alejandro Claro (51 kg), world bronze medalist and Jorge Cuéllar (71 kg), bronze winner at San Salvador 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Two women are also part of the team: Legnis Cala (57 kg), silver at the Central American and Caribbean Games and Yakelín Estornell (66 kg), bronze at San Salvador 2023.
