Havana, Jan 10 (ACN) Cuban judo kicked off 2024 with a selection of its best experts from the previous year and looking forward to world and Olympic rankings that will open the doors to Paris Olympic Games.
National Judo President and Commissioner Rafael Manso told the Cuban News Agency that the outstanding experts both in the men and women’s categories were Andy Granda (100 kilos), and Idallis Ortiz (over 78 kilos). They were also picked among the best Cuban athletes.
Manso added that the list of the 10 best athletes included Iván Silva (90 kilos), Orlando Polanco (66 kilos), Magdiel Estrada (73 kilos), Idelannis Gómez (70 kilos), Maylín del Toro (63 kilos), Lianet Cardona (100 kilos), Maikel Mckenzie (81 kilos), Liester Cardona (100 kilos), Omar Cruz (+100 kilos) and Yaimé Coronado (48 kilos).
