HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 29 (ACN) Cuban minister of domestic trade, Betsy Diaz Velazquez, in an exclusive interview with Canal Caribe, assured that with the new measures the supply booklet will NOT be eliminated.
The directive acknowledged that during the last months it has been complex to sustain the deliveries of all the products, some have been distributed in a fractioned manner and others have not yet been delivered to the warehouses.
She announced that, in line with the increase in import costs and domestic production, the prices of several products will be updated. This will be done in a staggered manner and will not take place on January 1st.
The country will protect people in a state of economic vulnerability so that they can have access to these products, Diaz Velazquez concluded.
