HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 20 (ACN) The Cuban former water polo player Jhoen Lefont balanced a football on the head while trading for 20:02 min to break his own Guinness World Record.
Lefont’s previous mark—19:02 min—dated back to September 14, 2019.
“I prepared properly for this attempt, even if the birth of my daughter and some injuries eventually tampered with my training sessions,” he said.
The athlete hopes that Guinness will green-light his new mark, which would add up to 10 the number of his records.
“This year I will go for another two world records: expect world record attempts in two tests: more consecutive football touches with the head in one minute with and without ballast on my body,” Lefont concluded.
