HAVANA, Cuba, May 21 (ACN) The young Cubans Yeniffer Rivera and Amanda Armenteros finished fourth among the 20 women’s duets that competed in the North, Central America and Caribbean Circuit (NORCECA) Beach Volleyball Tour 2023, hosted by Cayman Islands.
Rivera and Armenteros ended up in fourth place after losing 0-2 to the Canadian players Sorra and Monkhouse in the game for the bronze medal.
The first and second places are being disputed by Guatemala and Puerto Rico in a tournament that grants the winning duet 320 points for the world ranking, as well as 288 to the loser.
Cuba's top female pair recently finished sixth in the second leg of the competition organized at Varadero Beach.
