HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 11 (ACN) The Cuban Cecilia Díaz Mesa led the club Red Star Belgrade’s 30-2 victory over the inexperienced team Palilula in the Serbian Water Polo League.
Three weeks ago, Diaz scored three times in a 30-1 win over Vračar in the first round of the Serbian championships.
She has been a key player on offense in the most recent campaigns of Red Star Belgrade, Serbia’s runner-up in the last two seasons after hard fought final games against the club Vojvodina.
