HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 15 (ACN) Playing as visitors, the Cuban national soccer team beat the Dominican Republic 4-2 in the first of two friendly matches under the so-called FIFA Day, just days before the opening of the World Cup in Qatar.
The home team took the lead on the 28th minute, but the Cubans tied the game on the 31st and scored again three times on the second half, during which the Dominicans were awarded a penalty.
Both teams will have their second game on November 18.
