
HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 25 (ACN) The Cuban Baseball Federation (FCB) announced today that four of the island's top coaches will serve a two-week period of preparation in Japan.
According to a statement from the digital site www.jit.cu, after the Cuban team's participation in U-23 Baseball World Cup 2022 in Taiwan, professors Armando Jhonson, German Mesa, Pedro Luis Lazo and Ricardo Eizmendiz continued their trip to Japan.
The purpose is for them to add experiences and carry out improvement actions as part of the preparation programs for athletes Pedro Pablo Revilla, Frank Abel Alvarez, Guillermo Garcia, Marlon Vega and Pedro Alvarez, hired there through the FCB.
The 1st Elite League of Cuban baseball recently began, which should be closely followed by these four coaches, with a view to the integration of the national teams for the two important events coming up in 2023: the Caribbean Series (Venezuela, February) and the World Baseball Classic (Taipei, China, March).
