HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 21 (ACN) After Gabriela Alpajon's third place in the previous day, the Cuban mixed duet won bronze on Thursday at the Central American and Caribbean Amateur Swimming Championships (CCCAN) in Panama.
In the technical routine test, the mixed duo integrated by Soila Carely Valdes and Andy Avila totaled 65.5814 points, according to the official results tables of the regional confederation (CCCAN).
The Cubans obtained scores of 20.0000 for execution, 20.2000 in impression and 25.3814 in the technical elements.
The gold and silver medals were won by Colombians Jennifer Cerquera and Gustavo Sanchez (73.2940) and Mexicans Maya Belmont and Diego Villalobos (72.4706), in that order.
Guatemala and Puerto Rico closed the table with 64.2994 and 64.2369, respectively.
