HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 11 (ACN) The Cuban pair of René Torrecilla-Lorena Fundora were sixth in the 2022 Snipe North American Championship held at the Etobiconke Yacht Club in Toronto, Canada, after six cumulative regattas in three days of competition that earned them 23 points.
The favorite Puerto Ricans Raúl Ríos and Andrea Riefkohl won the event, followed by two duets of the United States in second and third place.
The 2022 NA championship gave two tickets to the 2023 Pan American Games, to be held in Santiago de Chile.
