HAVANA, Cuba, May 3 (ACN) Cuban Jasiel Rivero and the Spanish team Valencia Basket will go in search of being finalists of the Eurocup basketball tournament tomorrow, when they face the Italian team Bologna in the semifinals stage.
The Valencians, who with four titles have the most trophies in that competition, which in terms of quality is only behind the Euroleague in the Old Continent, will play at home to try to get even closer to that crown.
Both teams shared Group B of the qualifying phase, with two victories for the Spanish club with scores of 97-96 and 83-77.
In the case of the Valencian team, last April 27, they won 98-85 against the French team Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92, in the quarterfinal round.
Rivero played a leading role in that game with 21 points, to be the most outstanding offensive player, supported by his teammates Bojan Dubljevic (16) and Martin Hermannsson (14).
