At the Ivan Vassilev Todorov Coliseum, the Cuban team showed their superiority throughout the match, with a first half where they dominated more closely 20-16, although in the second half they were better with a bigger difference (22-14).
For the winners, Ronaldo Almeida, with nine goals, and Frank Cordies (7) stood out on offense, in a duel in which goalkeeper Edmanuel Diaz made several saves of great importance.
In the case of the Dominicans, Michael Cabrera (7) and Jerandy de Jesus Rosario (6) stood out in attack, according to the official site of the competition.
With this result, the Caribbean nation's team shares the top of key B with the Argentineans, who defeated the hosts Colombia 30-19 on Monday.
