HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 26 (ACN) Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez praised the island's first gold medal at the Junior Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia, won by the mixed diving team.
On Twitter, the president congratulated champions Anisley Garcia, Carlos Ramos, Laidel Dominguez and Luis Cañabate, who achieved a total of 471.2 points in the competition.
The Cuban title in the mixed team diving event, achieved on Thursday, is the first in this new modality of the Junior Pan American Games.
