HOLGUÍN, Cuba, January 8 (ACN) With the aim of contributing to physical and family well-being, the Dutch foundation Stichting Cuba Adelante is cooperating with public health institutions and vulnerable population groups in the province of Holguín by providing donations.
“Since its creation a decade ago, the organization has arranged the shipment of containers of resources to the region for the benefit of the local healthcare services, including wheelchairs and spare parts for them, disposable medical supplies for hospitals, medicines, walkers, canes, and second-hand eyeglasses and frames,” said Juan Manuel Pérez Riverón, coordinator in Cuba. “The foundation also assists vulnerable families in the provincial capital with food modules and a permanent monitoring of their basic needs”.
The help provided by Stichting Cuba Adelante and its collaborators from the European nation, among which Womy Equipment Rental and Nirint Shipping stand out, also extends to physical exercise with the donation of equipment for the students of the Pedro Díaz Coello Sports Initiation School (EIDE) in the provincial capital city.
